Program for communicating with Deaf relay Services

Or would it help to approach it from the other end? What does Deaf Relay 
Services expect/recommend? My hearing is getting bad enough I've been 
thinking of seeing about this, so with the great indulgence of the keepers 
of political correctness I'd be interested in the Windows programs too; that 
way we can see what has to be emulated if it isn't already.
