Ok, I just got two welcoming messages (not duplicates different content) 
from the owner of the list. so it is functioning. I can only suggest that 
you check that the address is correct in your email and try again. I don't 
know why you would be having trouble unless the list was down or you are 
specifically having mail issues. sorry I can't be of more help.
