games for linux

Hi,

Does anyone know if any of the infocom interpreters will work with ubuntu or 
redHat or fedora or, auralux? I saw some interpreters on the site that will 
allow or should allow one to play text adventures under linux. They may not 
be games with direct-x and lots of sounds but it's better than no games at 
all.
