[TIP] force full duplex during bootup using ETHTOOL_OPTS

Hi,

Besides editing /etc/modules.conf or ifup-post script, you can add the line below:
ETHTOOL_OPTS="speed 100 duplex full autoneg off"
to
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethX

ETHTOOL_OPTS is documented in /usr/share/doc/initscripts-<version>/sysconfig.txt. Credit goes
to http://www.redhat.com/archives/taroon-list/2003-October/msg00014.html

It works for my system: Dell PE2650, bcm5700-7.1.9-1 driver, Fedora 1, kernel 2.4.22-
1.2129.nptl.
