EVMS make linear targets out of all partitions.  The backing store 
for sparse or BBR can be anything, not just a DM target.  Could be 
a disk, or a MD device, or a DM target.  We don't add an extra 
linear target if that is your question.  BBR directly on a disk 
would result in just 1 DM target mapping.
