Note to self, compiling alpine

First note to self.. I am doing this all wrong, so I need a bootcamp
in being a good developer etc with todays world.

Problems with compiling upstream SRC.RPM
ftp://ftp.cac.washington.edu/alpine/alpine-0.999999-1.i386.rpm

I have created an updated spec file for it if someone wants it in koji.
