Yes, but, *why* is pv_read() calling pv_flush() at all, and why is
pv_flush wanting to invalidate all of the buffers in the buffer cache?
If all you're doing is reading in the PV structure, forcing an
invalidate_buffers() doesn't seem to be a such a great idea.
