RE: BIG Bug on Linux EXT3 file system, or "/bin/ls" problem?? Please Help!!!

Hi, Marc,

 Thanks for your help!

a "ls -alFs" command shows the difference, Theodore Ts'o talked about it at
https://listman.redhat.com/archives/ext3-users/2003-January/msg00008.html.
Both File system and "/bin/ls" contains no bugs, my knowledge databse in my
mind got lots of ""Bugs" instead. :)

Could you tell me where can I find more introduction on sparse file? and
How it can be used to save disk space? and the impact on file system
read/write performance? Thanks.

I also looked it up that "SCNR" means "Sorry, Could Not Resist" at
http://www.acronymfinder.com/af-query.asp?p=dict&String=exact&Acronym=SCNR.

what a shame of me! I don't know a lot useful stuff. *SCNR* ;)
