Well, the currently favored solution of telling them to go away
certainly meets that.

Personally I favor DKMS (and the attendant toolchain requirement) in
an outside repository.  And big freaking warnings plastered all over
everything saying that you should expect your system to lose drivers
when the kernel is updated.  Not optimal, but at least it allows me to
actually use my hardware.  But note that this still doesn't save
davej's sanity, because it doesn't matter what repo the kernel modules
are in.  The bugs still get reported against the kernel.

The bottom line is that all we can do is keep this stuff out of
Fedora; it's still going to come from somewhere.  Our choice is
whether or not to work with the people who want to provide these
things externally.
