Wait a minute. This whole idea about "CSE has to control every
computer and IT, EEE, ECE ... just has to toe the line" has to stop.

I never said that. All I want to stress on is that CSE should have been an active participant.
 
If you are so proud of  your CSE credentials, just go and learn it all
by yourself, just like most of us did.

Well, I have learned most of it by myself. What I am talking about is the general awareness. I want to make the learning process smoother for interested folks than what it has been for me. I guess that's what being an ambassador is all about.

As for your last point about sending emails in plain-text format, I had no idea that HTML email would offend you. I have been using it for all my posts to the fedora mailing lists, and you are the only one to complain. However, if there exists such rules, please FWD me the links and I will comply with it.

If you are so proud of  your CSE credentials, just go and learn it all
by yourself, just like most of us did.

And please do read about why it is bad to send HTML emails, and learn
how to use plain text emails. CSE students are expected to know about
basic email etiquettes.
