FC6 Splash Screen Brain Dump

Diana,

I am struggling with a solution on the 16 color splash screens. I posted
some ideas which do display reasonably well at 16 color at this wiki page.

A part of me says if the glassy theme will not reproduce at 16 colors then
something completely different should be presented.
