Probleme mit Maus nach Update von FC1 auf FC2

in /var/log/xorg.0.log steht nichts, was ich als Fehlermeldung

in /var/log/messages finde ich nur die Einträge von 
/usr/sbin/mouseconfig wieder mit dem ich ein wenig experimentiert habe:

Wenn ich mouseconfig aufrufe bietet er mir von Logitech nur alte Mäuse 
für den seriellen Port an. Dementsprechend habe ich als Maustyp "Generic 
Wheel Mouse (USB)" ausgewählt. Könnte es daran liegen? Sollte ich da 
einen anderen Typ auswählen?
