Fedora is in part an R&D department, its also somewhere Red Hat people sometimes
contribute stuff outside of work time. All the best R&D starts with doing
something silly and wondering what happened. Its a bit tamer in computing as
you don't have to stare at the burned patch on the ceiling while wondering 8)

Plenty of sparc kit in educational junk piles still, although the local sparc
hardware is mostly used as laptop trays and bookends
