gnome-terminal is slow to death

Oh indeed. Just upgraded my laptop to FC 0.94 from RHL 9 and anything in gnome-
terminal is painfully slow. Slow enough to make me seriously consider testing 
apt's downgrade capabilities to go back to RHL 9 :-/
