	If you really feel strongly that the fix needs to be backported, then
do re-open then bug. Just don't do it for every little tiny bug or
people will get annoyed.

	If you're right, and the fix really should be released in an update the
maintainer will listen to you, especially if he/she happens to have a
tiny bit of time to spare :-) e.g

	Hopefully, when we have a real process for external developers it'll
only be a matter of a developer saying "I think this should be
backported, okay if I go ahead?" and the developer at least doing a good
chunk of the work rather than stuff like this blocking on the amount of
time a given developer has available.
