MySQL4 client libraries are not compatible with the Apache license. Thats
a fundamental problem in itself. Mysq4l mod_sql appears to be violating
licenses.

Not just proprietary products, lots of BSD 3 clause and other approved
open licenses that are not quite GPL compatible.
It isnt just an open v proprietary thing.
