Yes! Me three hopes for this :-) gThumb has been maturing really well, the
recent gphoto2 support makes it really great for _all_ the basic operations
on image collections, like importing, slide-shows, rotating jpegs etc. and
is definitely a killer combination when gimp2 is used for editing.

BTW, gthumb in core could be updated from 2.4.0 to 2.4.1.
