I saw the same on my old toshiba laptop (coppermine, 600MHz with speedstep). The install ran at approximately 1/8 of normal speed according to x86info. However, with the latest kernel (624) everything was back to normal. Most kernels since t2 seem to be affected. regards jan vestby
