We haven't gotten around to deciding if Extras should be either a
rolling release, or branched off based on how we release Core. As to a
Rawhide tree, I don't think we've had the chance to think that far, but
we should duly note this down when it comes to discussing about Extras

There's been thought about this, but no consensus. Let me say this is to
be added to the agenda for discussions

Agreed, you bring up good points

The plan is to make it part of the distro infrastructure, rest assured
(as per the terminology)

A +1 to this, but as reality hits, I don't think this is going to happen
in time. But miracles do happen sometimes ;-)

have a good outcome from it all, and move forward from there
