FYI, ipw2200 v1.0.11 released yesterday (Feb 15, 2006) has the following
changelog entry:

"Disable hwcrypto by default as a temporary workaround for the frequent
firmware restart problem (thanks to Andreas Happe)"

It will be nice when the firmware issues get fixed for lower CPU/power
utilization.
