As a conservative estimate I would say 80%-90% of computer clocks are
within 24 hours of the right time.

However, the percentage of users who never touch a calendar
application is ... I would say quite high. Certainly much much higher
than the percentage of computers where an installation warning would
(or wouldn't) be displayed correctly.

The warning can be worded in a way that makes it a non-issue if the
computer's clock is wrong. Eg, "The installer has detected your
computer clock is set to <DATE>. That means this version of Fedora
Core is now <X> months/years old. It is suggested that you check for a
new version on the Fedora website <url>. If the computer's clock is
wrong or you would like to install this version of Fedora Core anyway,
press Continue."
