autofs NIS map usage breakage?

$ ypcat -k auto.master
/home auto.home  --timeout 60
$ ypcat -k auto.home
* -udp,hard,intr   myserver:/home/&

The server is running a really old Linux that pre-dates NFS use of
tcp, hence the udp option.
