I think, rsh is quite obsolete

The "krb5-workstation" package has rsh with kerberos support. That way
it is possible to provide secure auth and even traffic encryption (rsh
-x). A lot of currently used UN*Xes have no ssh, but have rsh/rlogin and
friends with kerberos support.
