User directories integration - request for help

fedora-devel has done its magic and managed to make this thread too long
for any meaningful response in just a few days, but let me just ask this
one question here:

How many of the people who go ballistic here about stupid gui developers
with fingers in their ears trying to imitate win95 have actually tried 
Alex' implementation ?
