The whole truth is that we are on the way towards Stateless Linux 
(which means here xorg.conf-less X), but we are not there yet. To 
be honest, the way is long and the question is whether we will 
arrive at Fedora 10 or later. To make my point clear, we consider 
since Fedora Core 6 to be a bug, when Xorg doesn't work at all 
withtout /etc/X11/xorg.conf, but that doesn't mean that everybody 
should have 3D, etc. automagically.

And of course binary-only nvidia drivers are The Pure Evil(TM), 
so those won't be supported ever.
