Don't worry, that normally goes away soon.

[Trying out every new distribution under the sun means  you never get to
 really know any one (and thus you won't be able to use it fully). Plus you
 lose lots of time in relearning/redoing stuff (you note that above).
 Thankfully, all distributions are built out of more or less the same
 packages, so it isn't that any one is spectacularly better (or worse) than
 the rest, which one you pick is not worth agonizing over...]

Years... then yours is a specially complex case...

I'd suggest you try staying put for at least one full Fedora lifetime (here
or somewhere else, but stay put).
