Theoretical ideas in UI design are a good start, but not the
final answer. There are countless ideas that sound good in theory, 
but few have survived the test of time. 

Nobody cares about such arguments. Spacial had more than enough
time (4 years!) to prove itself. It didn't. Give it a rest.
