That gives me:

[mark localhost nautilus-2.21.5]# grep x-content /usr/share/applications/*
/usr/share/applications/gthumb.desktop:MimeType=image/bmp;image/jpeg;image/gif;image/png;image/tiff;image/x-bmp;image/x-ico;image/x-png;image/x-pcx;image/x-tga;image/xpm;image/svg+xml;x-content/image-dcf;x-content/image-picturecd;
/usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache:x-content/image-dcf=gthumb.desktop
/usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache:x-content/image-picturecd=gthumb.desktop
[mark localhost nautilus-2.21.5]#

But i guess i need to update all media apps in order to get that list
fully working ^_^ now only gthumb works. o well.. i rather don't
upgrade all media apps to F9 while i'm still running F8..

But thanx for the help. now i know what i have to do.
