Opinion: Preferred Applications & Removable Drives and Media

The more i read about it the more i like it.
But i doubt that all the applications will fill out those desktop
files with the new mime types. They will ofcause get that done
sometime but it will take a while. Specially for packages that can't
be in the official fedora repo for whatever reason.

I wonder how long it will take for all currently existing media payer
apps that work on linux to get the .desktop file updated... i guess a
year (after the F9 release) with the majority done within a month
after the F9 release.
