From a purely UI POW you should try to propose a three-column mode
(vertical UI in evo speak) as widescreens are becoming more common
everyday.

You could probably treat the Project: Homepage... etc stuff like mail
headers (with description as the mail text) and steal all the UI work
that went into MUAs over the years.
