without spoiling the presentation.. no we don't do fakes like
suspend/resume etc.

we start counting at the grub screen and stop counting when the GUI is
on the screen and the CPU and disk are idle.

we're not using rhgb (why would we? it's on the screen maybe at 8
seconds.. we're done at 5)
