To freeze, or not to freeze

Installer issues affect me a lot - I do all of my "upgrades" as fresh 
installs.  Today's (and the last couple day's) rawhide installs are 
failing with:

running /sbin/loader
failed to read /lib/modules/module-info

We need a beta with a working installer.
