pdcurses, readline, sqlite, gdbm, freetype, dlfcn, gettext, SDL

the 8 packages in $SUBJECT have been added to Rawhide.  Builds in
Fedora 10 and EPEL 5 are either complete or underway (expect that
they'll all be available by Monday evening).
