Firefox already allows easy rebranding. If you want to fork, you can
take advantage of that but what exactly do you want to patch that
Mozilla is not allowing you to do?

Better yet, what bug have you filed against the Fedora package that I have refused to patch locally without good reason? Sending things to be fixed upstream and waiting for upstream to take the fix is not uncommon for any package in the distro.
