This usually means some sort of networking or DNS problem. Make sure
ldap.domain.com resolves to the correct IP address in whatever hosts
lookup systems you use in /etc/nsswitch.conf (e.g. files, nis, dns) and
that the reverse IP address lookup resolves to the correct FQDN.
