give fully functionality like Win 2003 DC ??
I think its not fair when you compare a different product like win 2003
DC and FDS+samba. If you want fully functional LDAP feature as win 2003
DC....just buy it....
You may compare "OpenLDAP" with "FDS" for example.

Fyi, i'm also using FDS+samba as:
1. Mail authentication (+postfix n dovecot)
2. Domain user authentication (PDC and BDC)
3. Application (developed by my team) authentication
4. Online Address book
5. Main authentication on file servers (samba+ACL)
So thats all i need, at least for now....
Its depends on your need, why we buy bulky feature when we don't exactly
need them.
If you just want detail comparation of both feature, you may find them
on the net, the are plenty docs there...
