Problem with upgrading the fedora core 1 install

Ok sorry for that, i'm new to this.

Problem is I don’t run an GUI version

This question belongs on the fedora-list, not the fedora-docs-list.

Install gcc using redhat-config-packages--Red Hat-->System
Settings-->Add/Remove Applications.  Click on Development Tools, and gcc
will be installed.
