Believe it or not, it's time to submit proposals for next year's
conference. If you are interested in presenting at the ET SIG Open
Source progression, please let me know by August 28.

The progression topics are targeted to people unfamiliar with open
source technology. We do three sessions of about 30 minutes each. You
only need about 10 - 15 minutes of content to leave time for questions.
Handouts are always appreciated. We are looking for 8-10 people.

Potential topics include:
- What the heck is open source?
- When does open source make sense?
- Open source resources
- Open Office
- Anything else you can think of that is related to open source, and may
be of interest to other technical communicators
If you would like to participate, please send the following information
by August 23:
- Topic title (no more than 8 words), which clearly identifies your
proposal content

content of your proposal.
