It's probably already been thoroughly discussed, but do you think that
it should avoid use of the word codec? Or at least explain it?

Might be a silly thought, but people who are reliant on CodecBuddy
might not have a clue...

Awesome project though! I'll maybe have a crack at adding some content
to that wiki page.
