Hey Zach,
Nice work with the GPG key. As I understand it, you don't need to get
a job, you just go for it.
Content starts off on a wiki, and then it is editied, and then
converted to docbook. The Desktop User Guide and Administration Guide
are ready for editing (refer to section that are marked "Edit Ready"):

I haven't looked at the Desktop User Guide, but there is a table at
the bottom, showing the current status:

Maybe you could look at editing under the "Wordsmith" section...
You could ask John Babich, http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/JohnBabich,
the lead writer for the Desktop User Guide if you have further
questions...
