I think that's all doable with current comps

(1) doesn't require comps at all

(2) would be groups which list related apps, most type="optional", 
best-of-breed one type="default"

(3) would be groups which list related apps, most type="default"


For (2) vs (3), are you envisioning categorizing all of Fedora space twice 
(once into type-2 groups, once into type-3 groups), or are you envisioning 
careful group creation (web-server as a type-2 group, games as a type-3 
group)?
