NB: Apparently almost every m2crypto package that has shipped with
Fedora Core is a little broken in the sense that establishing HTTPS
connections doesn't work. The only way to make it work is to rebuild
the 0.13-2 package currently in rawhide, though, very humorously, it
doesn't work with python-2.4 because of this bug:
https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2840

I've filed the problem in rh bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=156979

You'll need to get a working version of m2crypto on your system before
you can use this code.

Cheers,
