------- Additional Comments From ed at eh3.com 2005-11-19 16:18 EST -------
Hi Patrice, sorry for the delay. I've looked at your libdap-3.5.2-3.src.rpm
package and have the following comments:

good:
+ RPM builds in FC-4 mock
 + no rpmlint errors
 + source matches upstream
+ specfile looks good (readable, code not content, etc.)

nits:
 - the Source0: URL is either out-of-date or wrong, please use:
     ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/dods/DODS-3.5/source/libdap-3.5.2.tar.gz
 - upstream is now at 3.5.3 but its your decision whether to update it
     or not

Moving on to potential conflicts with the opendap* packages, I don't know
what to say. I haven't checked to see if there are any conflicts. And
even if there are, I don't know if it even matters for FC-4+ since the
opendap packages aren't available due to serious build problems on 64-bit
architectures.

So, how about we proceed by saying that libdap-3.5.2-3.src.rpm is APPROVED
for FC-4+ and that a separate bugzilla entry should be opened for the
libnc-dap-3.5.2-4.src.rpm package. That will give a reviewer (probably
me) a chance to test-build the latter in mock following inclusion of the
former into the Extras repository.
