Are you suggesting holding back security fixes so other repos can catch up?
And exactly how do downstream repos rebuild against the new package
unless the new package is publicly available?  In this case the only
way livna can rebuild against the new directfb is if the directfb is
publicly available...even if the livna maintainers were given a heads
up about directfb impending release.
