I'm reviewing pydot now.
I won't be able to test it until later today, but I'll (hopefully) get
it done.

A package I want reviewed at some point (not a huge rush):

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=169735

It works very well for painlessly install Adobe naming scheme OpenType
fonts for use in LaTeX. It does just about everything - removes the need
to know the complexities of how TeX handles fonts.

It doesn't use Berry naming, but I don't think anyone is running Fedora
on an 8.3 filesystem ...

In the examples directory (in %doc), it has an example for using its
true type tools for Palatino Linotype - a ttf font I happen to have in
the four faces. Unfortunately that isn't working for me, his fontinst
driver belches when TeX tries to run it - I still have to figure out why
(wether there is a core teTeX file that needs to updated, or his bug, or
whatever) but the main draw (imho) of the package is the virtually
completely automated install of OpenType (type1 flavored) fonts - which
does work.
