i am currently busy discussing a solution for #19 3 with other wine devs. My
current problem is atm basically that i dont have access to my x86_64 buildbox
at home and no inet still.. besides at work.
various people are working on the subject already though. its just that one
must be aware of the problematics. currently building 64 bit packages doesent
make sense for various reasons (yet!). especially one has to find a sane way of
solving the following problems in a sane way:

1. 64 bit wine must be able to run win64 binaries
2. 64 bit wine must have a way to run 32 bit win binaries if backwards compat
libs are installed, or there must be a sane way of parallel installing and a
kinda solution for "binary type detection". currently 64 bit wine doesent run
32 bit win apps.
3. all of the above must be totally noninteractive (autodetection of kind of
binaries etc) and it must be a clean solution aswell.

of course the functional improvements besides the integration has to be done on
the wine side for sure.
