My remark is mainly oriented towards you previous claim in message #1: 
"Patches to build with gortran are included and applied anyway." 
 
Yet looking to the spec file one patch is not applied. 
 
Regarding all other rpmlint warnings I am convinced. :-)  
  
Notice that %install misses  
rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT  
  
at its beginning.  
  
One other small note, I think that the description of cernlib-devel should  
mention something regarding its purpose. The usual in any devel paclage. ;-)  
  
The only issue that remains before approving this package it is to verify the 
source integrity, something that will take me some work because of the 
specifics of this package (non free parts in the original source).
