Creative Commons license for pictures

I am still looking on what could be done, and found the Free Art licence that
could be more suitable:

http://artlibre.org/licence.php/lalgb.html

It seems it has been approved by other distributions and is considered as free
and copyleft by the FSF (according to
http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/license-list.html#OtherLicenses ). So I think it
could be OK to have it for the pictures.

But this issue is still here:

> So you are telling me it is not possible

> licence? IMHO, I thought that as long as it is explicitely told which
> licence apply to which material, it should not be a problem.

I was not able to find any information about that and to definitly know if a
GPL software may be packaged with non GPL files.

So before trying to have pictures under Free Art licence instead of the CC
one, I'd like to know if it will be OK then.

Christian.
