Okay it builds in mock I'll start the formal review this evening.
A couple of small questions about the build.log

There is a check for xmlto which fails. Is this spurious or does this represent
some sort of optional functinality which could be turned on if xmlto was one of
the buildrequires?

There is also a check for gfortran, is that just buildtime noise or would there
be something fortran specific that would be built if gfortran was available at
build time?
