You missed the part about the POWER systems.  They don't have
Altivec/VMX either.  (Except P6, which hasn't been released yet).

There's also the 43p-150 machines which Fedora supports at the moment.
They don't contain Altivec/VMX either.  I personally have about 4 of
these, and a B&W G3.
